Bench Organizers and Paint Racks

Hi guys, new here. Just recently been returning to the hobby I loved as a kid. Found this place from the great ISM vids on YouTube. Been watching Paul's F-15 build with great interest. Currently building Revell's 68 Charger kit and considering a jet kit next.

Anyhow, looking to organize my workstation and have been searching for various racks and organizers. Found these online and was wondering if anyone had tried them and what they thought: http://www.hobbyzone.pl/en/wsm/

I don't have a ton of space to start with as I'm using a medium sized sewing/craft desk to start on (63"W x 19.5"D with the drop leaf extended). Appreciate any reviews, thoughts, or suggestions.

Regards,
phish

Never used the Hobby Zone stuff, but always been tempted. I think there are some good options out there for "pre-made" storage/organisation solutions, but they might not really suit your space. I think it might be cheaper/more customisable to make your own. If you have some wall space, a simple shelving unit will allow you to store paints easily, where they can be seen. Some simple batons down the sides, with shallow mdf or fibreboard shelves between will work.

Perhaps look at stacking boxes? I store things which aren't needed all the time, such as weathering materials, basing/diorama materials in 9L Really Useful Boxes. They stack neatly, and are tough as nails.

Hope that helps.

I have paint rack and a workstation from hobbyzone and there is nothing to complain about really also, decent prices which is rare in the modelling world :)
