Airfix 1/48 Spitfire Mk I. Paul's BoB 48 hour build.

Hi guys.
Got this done late on Wednesday. Only about 96 hours past the deadline.
A decent kit but not as good as the Hurricane in my opinion. I encountered problems with the fit of the cowling just forward of the windshield and the main gear attachment points are a bit ambiguous and I had difficulty in getting one leg to stick. A couple of errors on my part- some rough paint on the wings no doubt pressure/mix issues, some decal silvering and the wings and tailplane don't line up to my eye. I've also put the wrong prop on
. I'll give the kit a B- and I'll give my efforts a C- (must do better)
Having said all that, great fun to take part and to see all the great finishes on here and on the FB page. I've learned a lot and I've finished a model in less than a week which I've not done since I was a nipper. In fact I've finished two models in just over a fortnight!
