{Completed} Vietnam People's Army: ZSU-23-4M Air Defense System

Vietnamese being my mother tongue, I wanted to build something during the VN war.
Vietnam is my real home. Been back twice and love it even more every time. It has rich history and culture which is why i really wanted to build something from VN in the homeland GB.

It is indeed the Soviet built ZSU-23-4m Air defense system used by the North Vietnamese Army.
100 units were provided to Vietnam and are still used now.

This weapon was an almighty weapon and is still used in many countries today including Syria, Iraq and Czech.

Weekend is here so more work can be done.

Finally finished the 4x 23mm cannons. Boy were they the hardest parts of the kit. They do take a while but done correctly, they are workable!
It is really neat. Also, you might want to drill some holes in the barrels

Tracks!!! Not Magic Trax but they seem to connect ok.
It doesn't sit nice on the rear idler anyway but that was the known flaw of the kit.

Still, All primed and ready to paint!

Hey Ham! Neither did I until I saw the decals and it had the NVA star! I wasn't even planning on joining this GB until I saw the stars and so I went with it.

Thanks Pat. I only like badass machinery I have never done individual trax from the sprues like these before, but in all honesty, it wasn't that bad. I thought it was fun and didn't take as long as i thought. Maybe 1.5 hrs to cut, assemble and glue!
