Nice review Adam
I just watched it and i think you are right about the old sprues being re used
As for the rear fenders they look the same as with the 6600 kit
I think you don't have to make cut outs but you probably have to remove the long locating pins
So that they will fit on the small frames you have to glue on first
Atleast that is what i had to do with my 6600 kits
But for now i will have to wait for mine as i also ordered the re released Late production Tiger wich is released in September
But i have been building enough Tigers for a little while
Good luck with your build when you start it

Thanks Mark. You have built enough Tigers I will take you at your word on those rear flaps. I'm slowly and quietly making my way through all of the Tiger kits. haven't done 6600 yet.MarkVerploeg wrote:Nice review Adam

I thijk that if you look in the instructions of the 6600 kit you will see a better drawing of the fender and where to cut the part
But i know the feeling of building a kit to.make a specific vehicle and then they start making it
After 2 years of searching i finally settled for a Tamiya DAK Tiger and only 4 days after i got the kit Dragon announces there new release of it
And i am working on a Fehrmann Tiger aswell so i would almost dare to put money on it , that a Fehrmann will be the next release of a Tiger
They have new tool parts for all the major versions now and as a Fehrmann is a hybrid it will be a case of collecting the right sprues for Dragon and putting them in a box
Aah well there are worse things to spend money on

If I were to make a Fehrmann I think I'd just bash two kits together as that's what the German's did. Is the Cyber Hobby Fehrmann kit going for that much on ebay? They did make one in 08, 6335.MarkVerploeg wrote:I thijk that if you look in the instructions of the 6600 kit you will see a better drawing of the fender and where to cut the part

If that is the Cyber Hobby kit then yes
They go for 200+ euro's most of the time
Far more then i am willing to pay for a Tiger kit
I have the "modelling the Tiger 1" book by Osprey and there is a Fehrmann build in there but like most of the builds in that book it is a kitbash with 2 dragon kits but the problem is that Dragon Tiger 1 kits are always low on stock where i live and i don't like ordering from the other side of the planet so i am kind of limited in what kits i can get and i do prefer a single kit instead of 2 wich leave me with a load of spare parts wich i most likely won't use
