Putty

Post by rkrebs »

Milliput makes 3 kinds of putty, White (fine), Grey (medium) and Black (Course-ish) and then I guess there is the terracotta but I am not interested in that one. As far as modeling things like tanks and various armor goes, does anyone use anything other than the white?

I use the yellow stuff for sculpting large objects and filling large openings on diorama work.
Until I was able to find some of the white all I could get was the yellow stuff. So I used it for everything.
The white is really hard to get here.
I use the white on figures and for making zimmerit these days, but even then that's a rare thing.
I stick to the Tamiya putties and the perfect plastic crap for most work.
