happy new year my fellow model builders. This is my first, yes I said first entry into this GB. This is the latest version if this glorious bird. The Mig 29SMT (9-19) first entered service in 2009 featuring upgrades as a new modern avionics package with a powerful new radar and large color lcd screens in the cockpit. The internal fuel capacity was increased. Hence the bulging dorsal section. The additional fuel gives it a flight range of 2100km.
It can also accommodate newer modern weapons.
The power plants are upgraded RD-33 series 3 engines with a max thrust with afterburners of 81.4 kN each.
