Nice box art with the longest span He111 you've ever seen.



All the sprues are bagged together, the transparencies are in their own zip bag.



Six sprues in all including the transparencies.



Decals look good and there's some etch and masks.



Usual high quality Profipack instructions on 12 pages. I do like the way Eduard do these.

I've got an I-16 type 10 in my stash but i don't know if i will build it right now lol 3 in a row is mayby a little overkill

Go on, do it! You know it makes sense!! Maybe someone who is good at photoshop can patch a picture up with all of our I-16 builds in the same shot.

I've chopped the main bits off the sprues, that's three sprues gone already! I'm going to PE this one as much as I can because I need the practice, I'm a bit of a noob with PE.



I have one of these on the way, a Small Shop Bug which hopefully will be here tomorrow, then I can crack on or bolleaux the PE up, depending on how cack handed I am with it!

So, the Bug has arrved and we continue. I'm doing one door open and one closed so first I drill a few holes in the plastic part I want to remove.



Then remove it. One touch of the scalpel and it fell away.



Tidy it up.



And dry fit the PE (which I've already broken a tiny bit off, it's fragile stuff).



PE instrument panel finished. Looks quite nice.

It's fragile Les, and then some! Plus some of the tiny parts aren't worth looking at if you have old eyes like mine, they just disappear as soon as you breath on them. There were supposed to be a couple of bits on that instrument panel but I lost them. They didn't ping off the tweezers, they just dropped to the cutting mat about an inch and they are gone.

Thanks Tomas. Finished the cockpit sides PE, painted up with Model Colour neutral grey and XF61. Knob ends picked out in tam flat yellow and red, oil washed with Winsor and Newton Lamp Black.

those belts look spot on, great work on the cockpit. ive always fancied doing the white one too but im attracted also to the the red tail!

Badger (Ultimate) primer on, first time I've used it, very good; and painted overall with Model Air 71.101 light blue gray (RLM 78). The paint call out says that it's unsure if the aircraft had blue undersurfaces and it was probably grey all over, so being as the blue under surface one has been done I thought I would go for grey overall.

The fit of the wings wasn't usual Eduard standard. I believe this is an oldish kit and some filling and fettling was required. Nothing too bad.
