Chiefs Red n' White F-16

Post by chief5437 »

Hi fellas :th:

All done with this. Tamiyas 1/48 kit was used for this, with Twobobs decals. Also used an Aires exhaust.

Here's the real thing. Now in storage I believe :(

And here's mine. I painted one of the wing tanks gray, just for fun! If you can spot my glaring mistake... You're a spotter, lol!

That's a lovely job Chief, one of the best I reckon on this sig so far. Can't spot your error though!

Nose radome colour???

Still mighty fine though. Inspiring me do do something a bit special ... or at least something different to the OOB scheme with my F-16.

Schweeeeet!!! :hi:

Two little maxims to help us on our way through life ...

1. Just pray that the light at the end of the tunnel isn't .... the headlight of the oncoming locomotive! :eeek:

and

2. The general idea is to die young as late as possible. (I think we've all figured that one out!)

On the bench ..... Nope! They're still all in the stash!!

Lol! No, this one had a grey radome. According to Twobobs and Google anyway. Guess again, lol!

Looks fantastic! Somewhere squirreled away I have the Two Bobs decals for the F-15D in the similar scheme. Its great to get away from the grey, makes the F-16 really pop.

Nice job Chief certainly something different from the norm :thumb2: . Is the mistake that you painted the small aerial at the base of the fin which doesn't appear to be in the photo?

That's lovely. I've vowed never to make an all grey aircraft. So one of these is definitely on my list.
Yes, actually, the real one looks just like that !

The fuel tank has a hole in the rear. You did imply we should look... :shifty:
Beautiful work though!
