Trumpeter 1/48 MIG-3 Early

Post by JonMW »

Really simple kit build mostly out of the box, just added some seat belts that I stole from an Eduard Spitfire. The kit is really nice with great fit and good detail. I wanted to try a winter camo on it, so after clear coating the decals I sprayed a coat of Ultimate Winter wash and using a dry stiff brush removed some of it. This was then sealed with another coat of clear with more weathering after that.

Great work Jon. I reallly like the washed away winter camo on it. :thumb2:
Great inspiration, might do the same type of scheme on my 1/32 version. Nice cockpit too.
