Tamiya Group build question - lost a part

As title really, i was testing fitting a part in my 1/48 mossie which has since disappeared ( its the clear almost square part that goes on the underside of the fuselage ) and i cant find it so not sure what to do next as i know i cant make a part as the rules say so but if i got another mossie kit can i use the missing part from that or would that break the out of box rule as i think it does break that rule but wanted to check as i would like my entry to be 100% complete as a 1cm square hole would be quite noticeable and stick out.
Its ok if its not allowed as i will just buy another kit and enter that one but thought its worth asking as i dont want to break any rules on the group build.
