My Fairy Swordfish
Laurie

Quite frankly not a clue old cock. Built as per instructions and as per photos sent by the RN Fleet Air Arm Museum. Must say as my first publication here I find you have a very aggressive manner which I hope is not all pervasive on this forum !dogsbody wrote:Nice! A couple questions/remarks, if I may.
Is that a torpedo under the fuselage? If so, where are it's propellers and vertical fins? If it is a torpedo, then it's an inert training torpedo with that red warhead.
Also, you would never see a Swordfish or any other aircraft fitted with both torpedo and RP's. It's one or the other.
I also see you've added whatever that is under the rear fuselage. Tamiya screwed the pooch there, as they misinterpreted an image of a RP-armed Swordfish:

Otherwise, an excellent looking build.

Thanks Nev very kind of you to respond.Nev wrote:Thankfully it isn't Laurie ISM is probably the least rivet counting forum on the web. I hope you show more of your work. Most of us just build for fun here.

Please show us your version of the swordfish if you've built one please!dogsbody wrote:Sorry. I was not my intention to offend. Some people just like historic accuracy. My bad.

Chris, can i point you towards the forum rules, in which no unwanted criticism is given unless asked for by the poster, i suggest reading the rules and making yourself aware for future please! This is not how we operate on ISM.dogsbody wrote:Nice! A couple questions/remarks, if I may.

"Otherwise" thanks for your rather condescending thoughts on the build.
Is it always like this here ?
Laurie
