1/48 J35FS Draken

Post by JonMW »

This year marks 100 years since the Finish independence, I'm planning to do a couple of builds related ti Finland. Also the local IPMS show has Finland as a theme class so it would be nice to have a couple of models done for that. This was a really quick and simple build that I did during the week between Christmas and New Year. It's the Eduard rebox of the Hasegawa SAAB J35F Draken, Eduard have added some nice extra details to an already good kit. I also added a Aires exhaust and Brassin Aim 4. The kit pretty much just falls together, only slight problem is the gun ports on the fuselage that needs some filler and that you need to cut the flaps your self. Painted everything using the MR Paints Swedish colors, which are pretty much perfect in terms of color and sprays really well.
