The 1/72 Hasegawa F-4E Thunderbird is done
Had a bit of fun with this paint scheme actually, it is quite striking even if not as neat and tidy as I would like
Got tired of the base so left out my lighting idea. The display should remind you of a Totem Pole....that is what I was after
Build thread is here, sorry it is long and rambling

Thanks for the comment Tay
This colour scheme is very sharp even in my clumsy hands. The F4 started the all white trend for the Thunderbirds
My thought was to display it like a totem pole, full vertical

Thanks bud, you have been helpful spurring me along on this build
I am sick as a dog at the moment, just having a few hours of feeling ok, then fevers and chills
I think the F-18's may wait a while...I have to make closets and finish my workshop organizing
Almost ready for the driveway pour if the weather would cooperate

Thanks Neil, you have been helpful moving me forward in the build too
I had more grandiose plans for afterburners and a base with lights, but the man flu had other ideas
Just glad I finished on time

Yes, kind of averted.... and covered and re covered
Just don't look too close
I am seeing double at the moment and everything is kind of woozy so the display looks really cool...and makes me wanna puke
Finish off yours, it is looking fine. Decals truly are the devil's work

Try a layer or two of Future or some type of acrylic over them first to thicken them up a bit
I did that on these old decals for the phantom and they went on fine

Finish yours off when you can....know you had a bit of a rough ride there so no worries
just do little bits until it finishes itself
