Tamiya 1/48 Focke Wulf 190-D9

Post by James44R »

This was my second build since getting back into the hobby. Found the camo a challenge as I had not done this before using an airbrush. But the blue tack technique seemed to work.

Used the Hataka paint sets with Ultimate Black primer and I have found the Hataka paints ok to use but the Tamiya paints I used on P-47 much easier to work with. Tried to make this one look at lIttle worn next time ill be trying out some Ultimate washes.
Any feedback welcome as I would really like to improve my knowledge and techniques.

Thanks
James

For your second build that's a cracking effort. Very nice crisp build.

Thanks for the feedback. I've been watching the technique videos on you tube and just followed the advice from there. Still lots to improve on hopefully my next one will be better.
