Airfix Little Nellie, James Bond You only live twice

Post by m1ks »

Completed the old 1/24 Airfix Little Nellie Wallis Autogyro.
Placed in Helicopters though technically it's neither plane nor helicopter.

i have to say i saw the thread with a picture of the kit and thought meh, no interest in it, but, having seen your kit i'm thinking actually i quite like that and if it ever comes my way i may even build it, it just goes to show 'never judge a model by its box !!'

Thanks guys.
There's a bargain one online, grab it while you can, (ask the seller what he's sniffing while you're at it) :P
It's nice to have something a bit different to cars from the Bond i verse to build.
You do see them from time to time at sensible prices, but i'd say £20 is about the most it's worth, it's a really old kit and needs a lot of fettling.
