#30 Another Lancaster Reveal

Post by Les0012 »

Ok so I managed to get her done today. So here she is wearing the guise of "Frederick II" flown by Wing Commander Frederick Campbell Hopcroft,
Commanding Officer, No 57Sqn, RAF Scampton, Lincolnshire, England, August 1943.

The base is from Coastal Kits Ground Blur Range, base No 02.

Just for fun a couple of shots of two Avro's together.

I didn't realise that the Shack was so much bigger than the Lancaster.

Everyone thanks for all the support and encouragement over all three builds it has been appreciated.

I'm now DONE

Love it Les, she's an absolute beauty!! :th: :th:   :cheers2:

Really like the way you've displayed it with the ground rushing by underneath, very effective! :th:

Nice display. Why did you leave the spinners off the propellers?

I've been through the Airfix instructions and nowhere does it tell you to not fit the spinners.
