#33 InvalidUsername's 1/48 ICM JU-88 A-4

Post by InvalidUsername »

Here is my final reveal for my Bomber Sig entry, the Ju-88 A-4 by ICM (Build thread viewtopic.php?f=661&t=24637)

A big thank you to Scott for organising this Sig and the motivation along the way :th: I was a little disappointed it didn't get the votes to be part of the ISM calendar, but glad you had an ace up your sleeve and the interest from the rest of the ISM community to make it happen!

Thank you to everyone else who has viewed & commented in my build thread :th:

The kit was very enjoyable to build with only one minor flaw, the engine cowlings. With the built up engine inside, getting the cowlings to fit properly took time and patience, all part of modelling I guess! The rest of the kit went together well, the eduard PE designed for the kit was very good and I definitely praise the eduard mask set for all that glass :bow::

The model was painted with gunze aqueous colours, over Ultimate primer. Ultimate light and dark dirt washes (for the wheel and undercarriage areas) Alclad aqua gloss and vallejo matt for the clear coats.

Here she is;

Oh dude, what a gorgeous plane :jd: :thumb2:
A perfect clean, crisp build and man what a looker :banana:
Your photography is very impressive as well :clap:

You were on my mind to push for a Bomber Build after the ‘heavy bombers’ failed in the voting
I was more than happy to step up and help out a bit and have some fun along the way
Congratulations on such a gorgeous model

:cheers2: Scott

That's one heck of a finish. I've bookmarked your build thread so I can copy you shamelessly when I finally build my Ju88 :thumb2: :thumb2:
