Ok I am off and running.
I was waffling between the Blue Angels and the Phantom.
When I opened up the latter, it had US shark mouth decals AND a PHANTOM FIGURE

So this will be right out of the box...




Well except the rear seat needs a helmet. Who the heck flies a phantom solo?? Milliput use for helmet rough shape.

I have been working on this little bugger over the Easter holiday ..isn’t everyday a holiday now???
Went to the office and used my dental putty to make a second helmet as my Milliput is f’d and won’t set up...been waiting a week for t lot set hard

Phantom into Gelb Ultimate primer


Then some Olive Ultimate and some Ak dark RAF green as accents. Thankfully the Ak paint is adjusted to scale, I wouldn’t want a green colour that wasn’t a scale colour







I also painted a cardboard test for my beehive warning sign

Phantom figure would have done it for me too Scott. I have heard over time that milliput hardener leaches out and has a sell by date. Nice work and looking good

Yep, no more milliput for me
My dental lab putty also expires as the platinum catalystalso seems to bail out.
I will use it more often now just to get rid of it as we have been heading all digital at work

Rattled and hummed along with this, got the aircraft finished
Here are raw pics without canopy and full decals...save those for the reveal
Used a brass stock as the support and tequila bottle cork as the base
Both pilots got Mylar helmet visors and some details
Canopy is drying from AK gauzy dip
