Drying rack/ hobby knife holder

Post by Twokidsnosleep »

Weekend project to produce my version of thisImage

Version 1.0 was out of cardboard to work out kinks
Version 2.0 shown here is thin plywood and dowels hand cut on the jigsaw with drill press circles
Paint is black PlastiDip

Really it is best used to allow your brushes to dry horizontally after cleaning, thus maintains the ferrule hold on the bristles

Version 3.0 will have a larger arc, thicker ply or acrylic and be laser cut.

Have to magnetize them and stick it to the wall.....double side tape a piece of metal to the wall. Magnets in the stand ...another extended project..... OR even cooler have the knives stand up vertically in a magnetic field. You'll have to modify them too....   8-)
