Hi everybody.

Really glad to have found & joined this forum!

Fairly new to modelling as a hobby - have just completed my 14th build so far.

Steep (and expensive) learning curve but coming on fast thanks to people like Paul who make the time & effort to post wonderful, detailed & informative build instructions on the net - so easy to follow & understand and ultimately learn!!

Please have a look at my last model completed - Ford model T roadster by Revell. Lots of errors & silly mistakes but I managed to get there in the end fairly unscathed!!

Next goal is to try my hand at 2K clears as per Pauls' instructions but the issue here in SA is we cannot source the proper products & we have a lousy currency exchange rate so purchasing off shore is really prohibitive!

Rgds,
Farrel

Mistakes? That Model T looks fantastic!

One of the reasons I do armor is because a screw up is "battle damage" or can be hidden with mud or other weathering. I don't have the skill or nerve to try cars and bikes.

Welcome and I look forward to seeing more of your builds! :cheers2:

Hello and welcome Farrel. You will find that there are a lot of good people in this forum. I admire antique and classic cars as well. I recently finished a 1910 Thomas Flyer. Your Ford Model T roadster came out especially nice. I look forward in seeing more of your work.

Glad to have you here....

Ben

Thanks guys for the positive replies - really appreciate it & its real nice to get feed back from people with similar passion!

The model does look good overall but there are some flaws which become apparent on closer scrutiny - but at least these will not happen again (hopefully)!

I definitely prefer building older cars from bygone days - they have more character & represent a time when life was more innocent & less intensive!

Enjoy.

:welcome: Chap, good to see you on here.
The greatest modelling site bar none. No critique just wonderful like minded people that can't stop building stashes of plastic.
