Re: New Bike Builder
Hello and
to the ISM forum.
When you get a moment please check out the forum guidelines which can be found ---> here
We'd love to see your work & progress but in order to post photos you will need to host them on an external site such as Flickr and then link to them from the forum. Unfortunate the forum currently doesn't have sufficient capacity or bandwidth to host directly uploaded photos.
There is a quick guide on how to use the Flickr integration on the forum ---> here
As well as the forum boards there is a really useful Modeller Toolkit available which can help with paint matching, paint thinning, glue types & a scale calculator that can be found ---> here
We'll also be running a number of group builds & special interest groups through the year so feel free to enter any of those that you like the look of.
Otherwise take a look around and join in, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.
Have fun!

Re: New Bike Builder
You have come to right site for anything to do with Modelling. Don't persevere and muddle through. Just ask.

Re: New Bike Builder
Really loving the Tamiya bikes at the moment. Have accumulated a few, but they are spendy.
Other Japanese ones are a little less $
Also a Micro Moto Jig is a godsend making a bike
Really love the realism that you get with motorcycles

Re: New Bike Builder
Hi Scott
Have enjoyed my first three builds Tamiya Ducati Panigale Tricolore,Honda RC30 & Ducati 916 as you say
lovely Models but pricey,At the moment i have a Honda Blackbird on the go, tried to be clever and do it in
two colours but it looks terrible so think i'll flatten and repaint in Metalic Black or Grey.
Like the look of all the Tamiya Ducati's so i think through time i'll try and build them all !
