Hello everyone!
I'm Gareth, 40 something, and four years ago returned to model making. I have a small shed in the garden rigged out as a workshop, and spend as much time as I can out here in peace!

I like aircraft from my childhood best, so late Cold War stuff lie Tornadoes and Jaguars are my favourite. The Falklands War is a particular interest. Although I haven't build much from that theme yet I have a growing stash of subjects to be getting on with.

My refuelling Tornado is probably my most satisfying project so far as it had me doing a few things I'd never attempted before and learning a lot.

I hope International Scale Modeller is very successful. You can't have too many places to go asking questions and learning new skills and techniques.

Cheers,
Gareth

Hello and welcome to ISM. Yep! Late with the welcome but no matter  I found your comment about the Falklands War interesting. I was down there in 1982 and have to admit that I had never thought about looking for models from that time period. I do remember a lot of very cool Argentinian vehicles. You've got me thinking now mate :-)

Looking forward to seeing you around.
