New member from Norway!

Post by KBF »

Hello from Norway

Im a 35 year old guy who likes to build mainly cars, but also other models. I have had a rather long break from the hobby(13-15years) and have now started again. The reason for the hobby-break was the usual not so much time, grown up matters, kids etc... But now its time to get going again. The half of the garage loft has been heavily modified into a hobbyroom. I have bought HobbyZone work space setup and also made me a paintbooth from a IKEA kitchen cabinet.

As you can see in the photos below there is also some RC cars, that is another interest that my son and I share. Here is the workspace:

Hello and :welcome: to the ISM forum KBF.

That looks like a good setup you've got there :th:

When you get a moment please check out the forum guidelines which can be found ---> here

We'd love to see your work & progress and I can see from your first post that you're already linking to Photobucket which is great as unfortunately the forum currently doesn't have sufficient capacity or bandwidth to host directly uploaded photos.

There is a quick guide on how to use the Flickr integration on the forum ---> here

As well as the forum boards there is a really useful Modeller Toolkit available which can help with paint matching, paint thinning, glue types & a scale calculator that can be found ---> here

We also run a number of group builds & special interest groups through the year so feel free to enter any of those that you like the look of.

Otherwise take a look around and join in, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Have fun!
Cheers, Neil

It's good to have another car guy 👍
I also do the R/C thing. A couple of us did post about that side of things a while back but it never really gathered any traction (excuse the pun).
I'll look forward to catching up with what you've been building.
