Yak-9P , Amodel, 1/72

Hey Everyone
This is Yakovlev Yak-9P nr.311, 3rd Fighter Aviation Regiment, Oksywie, 1948
On such a plane, on August 26, 1948, 2nd Lieutenant Mirosław Piechociński escaped to Sweden.
This is A-Model company kit in 1/72 scale width ModelMaker decals

Beautiful paint job and weathering ! you nailed it ! did you do the riveting yourself or was it already detailed on the plane ?

That is a great looking Yak. Some nice masking went on there to get canopy looking so good. The paint has a nice matte worn look, not to mention the dirt.

Thanks :) The rivets were on the model, but I corrected them with a riveter. I was afraid that they would disappear after painting.

The Canopy was masked with KV Model masks, so it wasn't so bad :) The top was painted with AK Real Color and the bottom with Hataka.
