This is Yakovlev Yak-9P nr.311, 3rd Fighter Aviation Regiment, Oksywie, 1948
On such a plane, on August 26, 1948, 2nd Lieutenant Mirosław Piechociński escaped to Sweden.
This is A-Model company kit in 1/72 scale width ModelMaker decals

That is a great looking Yak. Some nice masking went on there to get canopy looking so good. The paint has a nice matte worn look, not to mention the dirt.

Thanks The rivets were on the model, but I corrected them with a riveter. I was afraid that they would disappear after painting.

The Canopy was masked with KV Model masks, so it wasn't so bad The top was painted with AK Real Color and the bottom with Hataka.
