krusty's osprey

Post by krusty69 »

all right lets get this party started.
1/48 hobbyboss mv-22, quinta studio interior 3d decals, and a colorful set of caracal decals. been waiting for this build for a while now. lot of plastic it's going to be a big one, so here are some random sprue shots. its going to be a hot one today, they say we are going to hit 118, so i'm going to hunkerdown in the ac and glue some plastic :thumb1:
thanks krusty

Hey Krusty, I'm eager to see how the Quinta details spruce up this model.

I was reading the news yesterday and saw an image at 7:00AM saying it was already 110 degrees there. Be very careful, watch the friends and family, and drink plenty of water! P.S.: Death Valley hit 130 degrees yesterday!!!

thank's guys been slow going. damn heat wave 25 days straight over 110 and a 4th hottest day on record 118. i work in a warehouse with just evap coolers, and i have a half hour motorcycle commute home. well enough of my baby crabbin. chipped the first layer of paint in the cargo area, just need to paint the black and do the final chipping. been working on some of the sub assemblies.
    thanks krusty

hey fellas long time no post. hot summer, two jobs, yada yada yada. :wall: so anyway have been chipping away on the osprey.

well she's done. came out ok rushed a bit at the end trying to finish up for the new year. kit was ok just way overpriced, and i mean way overpriced. the kit detail reminded me of the academy ch-53, and ch-46, but for a lot more money. it will be a while before i buy another hobby boss kit.
i'm happy she's done and to move on to the next kit
    thanks krusty
