Something different...

This is a heavily modified 3Racing FGX - Hong Kong company.
I've had it for a while, but just cleaned it up and will run it around a bit soon. I redesigned the front end and replaced most of the plastic with aluminium - an old Mac computer case.

It has a Tamiya modified racing motor - not installed at the moment - and goes very fast, and with the excellent independent suspension it handles extremely well.

Oh, nice one cor. A man after my own heart.i've never owned anything from FG, although I know they're up there with the best. I didnt know they did 1/10 scale or electric though 👍

What Tamiya motor is it, one of the Transpeed one's ?
I think there are a few of us on here that do the R/C thing.

You into these too, cool.

Its a Super Stock RZ [click link]
Modified by replacing the metal bushes / bearings with ball bearings

I will look at something quicker later, but its fine for running around a tennis court size area. Needs the space due to the top speed being pretty scary. I just like the motors, have been into rc since about 14 when I raced off road Tamiya buggies, and I enjoy tinkering with the motors and engineering of the car.

Yeah, me too. I never raced, i was only ever a backyard basher. My first Tamiya R/C was the holiday buggy which only came with a 380 motor so when i bought the frog a year later it seemed like warp speed although it was nothing like it lol. Once i started earning i moved on to the flying side of things which i still do to this day.

I also had the frog. It was an awesome car.
