Revell 1/32 Red Arrows Hawk

Post by Gav0909 »

Got this finished up today. Need to still add an AM seatbelt set and pitot tube, but that will happen once I have the funds to do so. For now, she is done. Few things I would have done different, but overall very pleased with the outcome.

Your comments and criticisms are welcome.

Sorry about the not so great pics, iPhone + bad light + gloss model = shoddy pictures.

Cheers!

Looks great Gav, I've seen a lot of Red Arrows builds where its just been done in glossy red with no modulation of colour or accenting of the panel lines. Definitely think it looks better with your approach of some subtle weather. Good job mate. :th:

Yeah I think this would look really good with the Big Ed set. I mean it seems that there isn't really huge amounts of bits missing from the kit that would be PE details. But I guess there might be PE replacements for a lot of parts, rather than additions.

I got mine online from The Works when they had a free postage deal on. Service was a touch slow and I had no shipping conformation email but it got here ok really so not bad.
