For the Car Modeller

If thinking about scratch building cars, The Complete Car Modeller books 1 and 2 by Gerald Wingrove are really worth seeking out. They come up second hand now and again but are very comprehensive books about making model cars by traditional engineering model making techniques.
I learned a lot from these books and adapted many of the techniques for using plastic for my scratch builds. Chassis members from Plastruct extrusions and plastic card for example. Also where the book describes soldering and brazing, on plastic I used liquid cement.
Very good books where Gerald's techniques are well described and inspirational.
