Website now open for business….

Post by Ultimate »

Our website is pretty basic but you can get all our products from there click the link below…

Ultimate Modelling Products

Deals and discounts…..

If you order 3 or more of any item you get a 10% discount on those items.

To get the ISM discount just PM Lee to request a voucher worth 10%.

Due to courier charges the more you order the cheaper it works out. The thresholds are 0-2kg / 2-5kg / 5-10kg / 10-15kg.

At the moment shipping is limited to the UK, but over the next month this will open up to the majority of Europe. We are still working on getting our products to the USA and Canada. Hopefully that will be sorted in the next 8 weeks or so :D

Any questions, then please feel free shoot us a PM or email us at sales@umpretail.com …. :D

Hi Brian

The prices for shipping are added at check out, you can see them there. I think there's a glitch somewhere as non of the T&C's or TOB's are showing either. Will try and sort it out :D

Good luck with the Business!

I find strange that? You sell your stuff and Estores around you also sell your products !

And how did you manage to ship samples to the USA? Since some ISM members got picked
For Pre-sampling your fine products!

Just a question? :thumb2:

Norm, only the thinners and cleaner are restricted items, and only Coen got some thinners. And this was given to him by Alextheblue (I think) who physically took some in his luggage when he went to Canada recently.

Its not that you can't send these things overseas, but to do so is very expensive. Stupid UK aviation authority rules on what constitutes a dangerous item.

To anyone that has used the Ultimate Weathering products, how much better are these washes then the Flory Washes ? OF course Im going to support ISM and the Ultimate products any chance I can just wanted to know if anyone has tried these both and how they are side by side as to the benefits of the Ultimate products. Maybe a mixture of different washes used together persay Ultiate, Flory, and AK all together to ake a perfect weathering job ?

The Ultimate washes are different to Florys. They are WEATHERING washes, that's the key. Yes the Dark Dirt is perfect for panel line washes. But the others all dry to a "dusty" finish and are suited more to armour/vehicle weathering. The way I see it, they act a bit like a pigment wash, which is basically what they are. So they dry with that same dry, dusty look that a pigment wash would.

I just used some this evening to add several tones of dry dirt and mud around the chassis and wheels of a 1/76 scale truck. And they worked great. I mixed the dark dirt and mud in different ratios to get different shades.

For grime streaks etc, you are better with a range more suited. But for adding dirt and dust effects (as well as concrete and sand dust of course) to vehicles, these are great.

Could not have said it better.
Although I'm tempted to get it sent to a friend in the uk and get him to send it through.

Do you have a list of the ingredients that may upset postman pat along the way as we have some confusing import regs here that seem to come down to flammable or explosive things in glass or aerosol.
Stand aside caffine, this is a job for alcohol.

Hey buddy, I can't give you a list of ingredients, for obvious reasons, but one of the ingredients is flammable. This is what is hindering us sending it to the US, NZ & Oz etc.

We are trying to work something out, but for the near future you, our antipodean brothers, will have to sort some out personally.

I do know though that John at Scale Model Shop will post to Australia and NZ.... Link - http://www.scalemodelshop.co.uk/manufac ... ducts.html

HTH :D
