Hi, I'm Dean Bainbridge, a 46 year old aircraft modeller, with a stash of 1/32 models, all pre 1946 subjects. I have a large number of German subjects, both WWI & WWII, purely because the camo finishes are so flipping cool. Conversely, I've very few British planes of the same period because green and brown can get a bit dull.
I use other forums, but the quest for exactitude and arguments over the number & location of bulges on a Bf109 is getting to ridiculous levels. I want to build a plane that I enjoy building & that looks like it's subject matter. As long as the wings point in the right direction & the wheels don't fall off, I'm happy. I also like sticking bits of PE on & use BigEd set's in my builds were possible.
I'm currently building HPH's 1/32 Walrus, which is a sheer joy. Not cheap, but all the AM you could ever need is already in the box. And it's a super cool subject.
