The problem is, I don't now wich paint I need to use!
Here are some pics:

(Not my work)
I don't now if I have to paint the main part in
gray or in a
silver/aluminium colour. Do you guys know?

Hey Jos.
I think those Mustangs were originally bare metal (i.e. metallic) with an olive drab camo pattern hastily applied over the top.
Hope this helps.

Glad to see another Mustang build. First you should prime your model. I use Mr. Surfacer 1000 or finer. I recommend Mr. Metal buffable paint or Alclad if you are using an airbrush. But, if you are a beginner, you will probably want to try something else as these can be a bit tricky. If you use buffable though, you will need to seal it with a clear coat after you buff it. I used Mr. Metal color Chrome silver. Once you have your base coat, you can add the other colors either by masking or free hand for the camouflage. Just remember, put any enamels you are using on last (washes and such)as they don't mix with lacquer. If you are hand painting, use a high quality acrylic such as Mr. Color. Tamiya makes a bare metal silver color (AS 12 I think is the number) in spray can. Anyway, I hope this helps. Let me know if I can help in any other way. I'm no expert. There are a lot of good modeller's on this site who are better than I am. But, keep it simple if it's your first go around and it will turn out great.
