I recently purchased the Eduard F6F-3 early Hellcat 1:48 Profipack (well it is meant to be, but nothing actually says it is). It is moulded in the olive green trademark eduard sprues with 108 pieces on them, 17 parts on the clear parts, a large decal sheet, mask and 2x silver (nickel plated) photo etch frets. One of these frets is coloured (already painted). The rivet detail is simply superb and is up to the usual eduard standard. The cowling shape has been flawed with many kits, but eduard seems to have been the best so far according to my I first inspection and others opinions is that the cowling is the best shape in this scale to come with any Hellcat kit without resorting to Aftermarket. The decals are also printed by cartograf.
One of the negative points though, is that the wheels only permit the early version to be created. If the later versions is preferred to be built, Brassin wheels from eduard will have to be soured from them. Personally, in my opinion, it is the best Hellcat (F6F-3) in any scale at the moment apart from the disadvantage concerning the weels. You can find it at Eduard's online store.
