Beautiful work as always!! :th:

I really like this simple setting. Like the tree stump for example: it's better that the rifle is leaning against it that it would be on his back or shoulder etc. Nice to see an austro-hungarian subject for a chance as well! :clap:

Austria-Hungary is by and large forgotten nowadays, but the heritage is strong actually.

I love the subject matter, it's really easy to forget about the German WW1 losses in the UK, as all we ever hear about is the Somme. Such a poignant reminder of the human cost on all sides.
