Hey guys, I just got the brand new Great Wall Hobby F-15C kit today and it's great! It is pretty much the same kit as the previous B/D/Israeli kit with a few different sprues. The only things that really make a C model stand apart from the others visually are a couple of small antennas that most people don't even notice. These antennas are all internal countermeasures antennas, two small bulbous antennas on the upper and lower nose section, two small antennas on the underside behind and in front of the nose gear door and a stinger antenna on the right rear of the jet. These are all accurately represented in this kit. This kit also has the newest Radar that is only on C models, the APG 63(V)3, well it's electronically scanned non moving array is represented. They didn't change the avionics bay in Door 3L to go along with it but that's fine as they shouldn't have had access to photos of it anyway. They also have a very very well detailed Bay5 behind the cockpit under the canopy with options for either the older internal countermeasures or the newer-ish internal countermeasures with the larger black boxes. That's pretty cool as I'll build mine with the cockpit open. They only include 6 missiles though which leaves two spots open... I'll only include pictures of the C model specific sprues and the decals
Here is how they package the two Aim-9X's... I thought they forgot to include two missiles but the instructions confirm this is correct. lame

The missiles they do include look great though!

You get two each of these different types of AIM-120's

Bay5 Electronics bay looks great!

This shot shows the sprue containing the latest Radar Array, Cockpit (consoles are a little bit too generic though)

Close up of the generic consoles

Another angle of the AESA Radar array and monkey fist for the Helmet Mounted targetting system JHMCS

Decals

Mine is smudged

they have Aim-120A's and 120C's included in the kit but the decals for those missiles all say AIM-120A. Error! lol

Stencils and such

They call out the older Compass Grey paint Scheme in the instructions, but these jets are both painted in the Mod Eagle scheme in reality. I don't know why they included St. Louis guard for this model as they were Brac'd several years ago and no longer exist. No love for the Premier Fighter Wing, the tip of the spear, the 125th Fighter Wing in Florida. RIP to "Moose" Fontenot, the pilot of the F-15 from MA that crashed enroute to LA for V3 modification a couple weeks ago.
