International Scale Modeller

So here's how it ended up. From the last update on the build thread I realised I hadn't added plumbing for the radiator or a windscreen. The windscreen was cut out of some packaging I had kicking around.

It's a little rough, but so am I, with a laundry list of things that could have been done better, or may not be completely accurate. Some of the parts placement in the instructions were more a suggestion than a directive, I could have done more research to correct this, but what the hey. I was not looking for anything more than how it turned out.

I bought this one when I first joined ISM, specifically for this build, from then to now I've learnt that there are kits that should be avoided. This kit isn't amongst the top brands available, but it was good to have a play with, knowing that if I had stuffed it up I wouldn't have done so with an expensive kit.

My first try at rigging, using Ezi Line, had me on the border of frustration, but it all turned out okay.

All said and done I had a lot of fun trying out different tips and techniques I've learnt over the last 9 months.

Cool stuff! Great looking kit, even though I'm not a real WWI fan myself, all these posts on all the WWI biplanes and stuff look cool, nice detailing!

Nice work on a kit that looks quite ruff. Great wood effect!

Cheers Mate. It's good to give them a try. BNA Modelworld had the Eduard Weekend Edition WW1 planes half price a week or so ago.

Hey Russ, sorry for not seeing this earlier...I've been tied up with personal things and now I'm on here trying to catch up. Your bird looks gorgeous mate! Love the colors and the wood grain effect!

This is really nice ! Another colorfull WW1 airplane , really nice and the wood effects are just great !
