Hello ISM
Hello everyone.
It's been almost 30 years since my last attempt at modeling. I recently picked up Revell B-25 in 1/48 scale and in a moment I was hooked. Not the most elegant job but enjoyable. Shortly after starting this kit I found the ISM YouTube channel - incredible job gents!
Next on deck was a Revell OA-4M in 1/48 scale kit that I picked up for $5. This was meant to be a cheap test kit mainly because it was missing instructions and I wanted to test some ideas learned from ISM. Part way through this one I realized I kind of liked it and abandoned the idea of using as a junk tester. Quickly realized aerosol spray cans will not due but carried on, not please with outcome and need to learn filling techniques.
On deck waiting for me to select airbrush and compressor is a Revell P-51D Mustang, Revell Mustang '64 1/2 car and and Italeri F-84G in 1/72 scale.
What a difference in quality and dry fit between Italeri and the Revell products.
Looking forward to getting more bench time on the Revells before moving on to the F-84.
Looking forward to learning from and enjoying the Forum
