Tamiya 1/6 YZ250 Motocrosser video build

My full video builds and in box reviews, for eModels.co.uk YouTube channel.

I will build almost any genre of model, but mostly enjoy prop aircraft and armour. I build under the eModels.co.uk name but also produce Videos for ntScaleModels youtube channel

Just finished filming part three, taken me all week getting all the parts ready for assembly but got here in the end.

Video will be edited and rendered tomorrow and ftp'ed to emodels for upload.

The bike as it stands now

So we got the exhausts on, the air filter and carbureter as well as the rear swing arm and suspension.

The mr hobby flat black is just so......well.........flat :thumb2: brilliant paint.

Yeah it's a very nice kit, even for an old re-release it's a great quality kit.

Will start filming part 5 this week, starting with the front forks and wheel etc.

Right so i filmed part 5 this morning and its rendering as I speak, it'll be sent to emodels later tonight and hopefully be uploaded to you tube soon after

This is how it stands today, I started of by spraying and fitting the crankcase cover as well as the front chain section and kick stand, which is fully working.

I then moved onto the front suspension forks, and the front wheel which are now installed on the bike and again fully working.

That is beautiful in my eyes Paul, wondered if you would finish it in weathered dirt bike look, but weathering in small scales is one thing but to near real life scale like this is quite another thing altogether and these bikes can get really dirty.

I'd have left it clean too.

I'll have to go back and look at your vids to digest how you went about certain areas, but honestly ... top class job.

Seriously considering this kit now.

Yeah I think it would look good weathered but I think it would have been a hell of a job to do.
